Nothing special, I meshed a couple of photos I fell in love with and they now sit on my desktop the vector not raster images that is.
Left for viewing and right for Illustrator, makes life so much easier that way.
50% reduction.

Just want to clear this up, these are not photos but vector that I did with gmesh in Illustrator.
I just happen to use them on my desktop.

nice work on the vectors
If you want to span a single image across multiple monitors you should download a program called UltraMon....Im currently running with 4 monitors (ive got a 5th waiting to get hooked up, just need another video card for it first..) and let me tell you, its a fucking godsend. Not only will it let you do that, it will also extend your start menu bar onto the other screens. heres an example screenshot ( [link] ) I highly recomend you give it a try.

Great vectors. I seen you released the left one on DA. Will you be releasing the right one or are you still concerned about copyright?

Dude.. get longhorn.

You don't even need longhorn, just get some kind of windows customizer..

that blue taskbar is just destroying it.

See my desktop.. it's got a black taskbar.

That's what you need:

[link] - type in 'longhorn' and download.

Be very careful. Follow instructions exactly. If you don't know how to use your task manager, I would reccommend just going to [link] and finding an OS customization program.

That blue.. just.. ugh. o__e

Great work. I love the style... ALMOST photorealistic with just enough "Illustrator" look to make it more interesting than a photo.

On a side note; how did you get Windows to allow you to have different background pics on each monitor. My Mac allows me to do that (and it's pretty straightforward) but I can't find the option on my PC.

Thanks, and keep up the great work.

It will very on the driver/controls of the card that allow this.
I also have an ATI 9700 that lets me do this .
This one I have it on is the BFG 6600, NVidia controles let me conf each monitor idependantly as do the ATI.
What card do you have in the PC maybe I can find it on either of mine and direct you to it?

Hey, excellent desktop you have. I was wondering, if you made those into vector, why are they not in your gallery? I would love to see those. Also, if you wouldn't mind, where can I find the originals?

They are Vector...dont know if the owner of the images would want me to post them??
Big $$$$ sites, even if its just a hobbie they seem to get all bent out of shape sometimes.
No matter I will do new ones for here.

I understand. I guess I was mistaken. I was under the impression that they were your original artwork. Anyways, I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Once again your representations are fantastically realistic. I request a little guidance in learning the gradient mesh tool. I have fiddled with it and all i get is harsh contrasts. Where can I learn to dominate the tool...I thirst for knowledge. Stop by my gallery I have a broad range of deviations...Id like to add another style with your help...peace be with you:meditate:
